Job:  FPI / Institutional Sales Manager

Department:  Sales

Qualification:  

  • MBA (preferred) or BCom degree.
  • NISM certification is mandatory.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an FPI / Institutional Sales Manager for Indian Capital Markets.
  • Experience working in a brokerage, custodian, or bank is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets and investment products.
  • Proven sales track record and strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sales-driven and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Existing network of FPI and institutional clients is a plus.

Responsibilities   

  • Business Development:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with FPI and institutional investors.
    • Generate new leads and acquire new clients through networking, industry events, and other proactive strategies.
    • Close deals and achieve monthly revenue targets.
    • Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell relevant products and services offered by the firm to existing clients.
  • Client Management:
    • Onboard and service FPI and NRI clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
    • Provide exceptional client service and address their investment needs.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients based on trust and mutual success.
  • Market Knowledge:
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the Indian capital market, including regulations, trends, and investment opportunities.
    • Stay up-to-date on market developments and share insights with clients.
  • Compliance:
    • Adhere to all applicable regulations and internal policies related to FPI and institutional sales.
    • Ensure compliance with KYC/AML and other relevant guidelines.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including research, trading, and operations.
    • Work closely with other sales team members to achieve shared goals.
